Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party company that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or similar technology where applicable.
How Information Is Used
We use this limited information to operate the site, diagnose errors, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create profiles about individual users.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Outagamie County and Wisconsin records portals, Appleton Public Library collections, archives, or third-party search services. Information submitted there is governed by that destination's policy. The same is true for sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
When Information Is Shared
Providers that host and support the service may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We otherwise disclose information only when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic in transit, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes stated above. Because visitors do not create accounts, the site keeps no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Your place of residence may provide rights to inspect, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. The research found no omnibus Wisconsin consumer-data privacy statute to cite. Wisconsin law does prohibit identifying-information misuse under Wis. Stat. § 943.201. Because we retain little data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs. Submit it through the Contact page. Wisconsin, Outagamie County, and Appleton public records remain under their custodians' control; direct correction or removal requests to those offices. Access to government records is governed separately by the Wisconsin Public Records Law, Wis. Stat. §§ 19.31–19.39.
Updates to This Policy
Revisions will appear on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
